When children attend Bethany Lutheran School, they are under the supervision of the school during the school day. Therefore, students are not allowed to leave the school grounds for any reason unless they have parental permission and supervision.

Noon Hour
    At noon students may walk home with prior parental permission; however, parents need to understand that there is no supervision of students who walk home for lunch. Parents are strongly discouraged from giving their child permission to go to a friend's house for lunch.

With Teacher
    Teachers occasionally wish to take their class off school grounds during the day for science or athletic activities. These "walks" would only take place in the immediate neighborhood. At registration parents sign a general permission form which allows teachers to take students off school grounds for these activities. Since parents need to sign special permission forms for field trips, field trips are not covered by this general form.
