The
Athletic Program
The Athletic
Program of Bethany is
operated by the Board of Education. All sports activities are part of
Bethany Lutheran School and therefore are subject to the general
policies of administration and operation of the school.
Extra-curricular
sports are offered to the students of Bethany Lutheran School on an
interscholastic
level. Interscholastic sports are offered after school hours.
Interscholastic
sports are offered to the students of grades 5–8. Fourth grade students
are eligible for some athletic activities based upon Board of Education
approval for that year.
The Lakeshore Lutheran League
(LLL) controls the
interscholastic sports that are offered at Bethany. The LLL is a
group of Lutheran schools that plans
and coordinates interscholastic sports activities for the students of
the member schools. We are subject to certain schedules and rules by
virtue of our membership in this league.
