Bethany Evangelical Lutheran School operates a program of interscholastic sports for the students of Bethany Lutheran School. This program will be developed and regulated by the Board of Education. The Athletic Program can never be designed with conditions that conflict with the overall operation of the school according to the school's designed purpose. For good order and to promote the welfare of the school and its students, all policies for the Athletic Program will come from the Board of Education and not from the parents or the teachers of the school. The Board of Education will look to the elected officials and to the called workers of Bethany for assistance in setting the guidelines for the Athletic Program. The parents will be consulted regularly for their input into the Athletic Program.
